Teak Oil User Guide

To best preserve the natural beauty of the wood, follow these steps for the proper use of Milan Teak Oil.

1. Sand with 240-grit sandpaper in the direction of the wood grain to remove dust, oil, and other debris.

2. Apply Milan Teak Oil, then wait 5 minutes for it to soak into the wood’s pores.

3. Spread evenly, then let it dry for 2 hours

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed to achieve better results

Do

✅ Make sure the substrate surface is smooth, clean, and free of dust, dirt, and oil.

✅ Use sandpaper of the appropriate type and grit before and during the application process.

✅ Use personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks when necessary.

✅ Mix the ingredients according to the recommended ratio and stir until well blended.

✅ Follow the recommended application steps and use the right tools.

✅ Apply the product in a well-ventilated area.

✅ Lightly sand between each coat for a smooth, even finish.

✅ Allow each coat to dry completely, and maintain the room temperature and humidity.

✅ Clean your tools and store the product in a tightly sealed container after use.

 

Don’t

❌ Do not apply paint to a wet or damp surface.

❌ Do not use paint that has thickened or turned into a gel.

❌ Do not apply paint outside the recommended temperature and humidity ranges.

❌ Do not apply the paint too thickly in a single coat.

❌ Do not mix the paint with any other products not recommended.

❌ Do not apply the next coat until the previous one is dry.

❌ Do not use dirty or poorly maintained tools.

❌ Do not apply paint repeatedly to the same area.

❌ Do not work in poorly ventilated areas or store paint at high temperatures.
