Teak Oil User Guide

To best preserve the natural beauty of the wood, follow these steps for the proper use of Milan Teak Oil.

1. Sand with 240-grit sandpaper in the direction of the wood grain to remove dust, oil, and other debris.

2. Apply Milan Teak Oil, then wait 5 minutes for it to soak into the wood’s pores.

3. Spread evenly, then let it dry for 2 hours

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed to achieve better results

Do

Make sure the substrate surface is smooth, clean, and free of dust, dirt, and oil.

Use sandpaper of the appropriate type and grit before and during the application process.

Use personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks when necessary.

Mix the ingredients according to the recommended ratio and stir until well blended.

Follow the recommended application steps and use the right tools.

Apply the product in a well-ventilated area.

Lightly sand between each coat for a smooth, even finish.

Allow each coat to dry completely, and maintain the room temperature and humidity.

Clean your tools and store the product in a tightly sealed container after use.

Do not apply paint to a wet or damp surface.

Do not use paint that has thickened or turned into a gel.

Do not apply paint outside the recommended temperature and humidity ranges.

Do not apply the paint too thickly in a single coat.

Do not mix the paint with any other products not recommended.

Do not apply the next coat until the previous one is dry.

Do not use dirty or poorly maintained tools.

Do not apply paint repeatedly to the same area.

Do not work in poorly ventilated areas or store paint at high temperatures.
